Facebook confirmed that it is indeed making page insights data available in real time, a change that will become visible within the next few weeks.
That’s what Page Insights Product Manager David Baser said during his presentation at the Facebook Marketing Conference in New York today.
This would speed up the native analytics tool’s data on impressions, reach, negative feedback, people talking about this, and user demographics.
The update would also soup up the data made available through the application programming interface used by third party applications for analyzing page data.
Since these improvements are promised upgrades rather than live, we can only wait and see whether the real thing lives up to the pitch we’ve seen today.
